Blocking of Online Access and Payments to Unlawful Gambling Services
Under the Gambling Control Act 2022, GRA has the powers to block access to online gambling services and payment transactions.
GRA works closely with partners such as the Info-communications Media Development Authority and Monetary Authority of Singapore to issue blocking orders to Internet Service Providers, financial institutions, and financial transaction providers.
If entities do not comply with the blocking orders, they are guilty of an offence.
